Event by Chinese Community Association of Tasmania Chinese New Year Festival
This will be the Ninth annual Lunar New Year Festival organised by the Chinese Community Association of Tasmania.
The festival is held within the picturesque Lawns of Parliament House Lawns, Hobart from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
There will be with lots of activities focused on the family and entry is free.
The program showcases four zones of entertainment, including food, culture, children’s activities and performances. There will be many activities including lion dances, cultural displays, and non stop entertainment.
Don’t miss the two metre long fire crackers which create lots of noise and smoke when lit. Our food stalls will showcase Asian festive foods, and our Panda Zone (children’s zone) is focused on child friendly interactive activities
